I went with Goin Out on Me. Songbird was very close, I’ve always liked Help Yourself, and Sci-Fi Woman is a real grower, but when it comes down to it, alllllll the songs are great, just that I’m a real sucker for a 50s feel to a song. When the whole album was released it was the first one I listened to and the pure emotional nature of it all brought me to tears, so I might be slightly biased? But Jeff himself has mentioned he likes this one too, so it must be a solid choice *nods head*

This is really easy - Songbird.
One month on from its release, and I'm still playing it in my car to and from work. Love it to bits! I'll be honest and say I like all of them for different reasons. But Songbird stands out. That 'chirping' guitar especially. The whole track is just beautiful. In my opinion, one of the loveliest Jeff has ever recorded.
lasttrain929: Thank you eloneen, until yesterday I had never heard of these insects. They live a strange life. Not sure about Circada ice cream or pizza though, not for me.....

eloneen: Timeblue I hope you enjoy it! It was sunny and in the 90s here most of last week, with some rain. Today it's cloudy and barely making it into the 60s. Crazy NC weather! ::m1809::

orioles70: with warmer (HOT) weather, the cicadas have gotten noisy. A local news reporter used an app on her phone and said it registered in the mid 80s for dbs (hearing protection recommended). They're not quite that bad in my yard.

orioles70: I was driving to the dump today on a road called Beaver Dam Road when what should cross the road but a pair of beaver (mother and child). Guess they named that road well.
