Typical British self depreciation. It's such a shame he suffers with what seems to be almost stage fright when it comes to talking during gigs. Don't get me wrong I don't go to gigs to see people talk, but a bit of chat about the song, the band, the venue wouldn't go amiss.
I love his falsetto and think it’s an integral part of the ELO sound, aside from it’s more in my range. (Me, jealous that he can hit those notes up there better than I can, when he’s 71 and I’m apparently a soprano in choir? Now where would anyone get that idea? )
Loved the interview, such a cheeky sense of humor!!

Horacewimp: We are all good thanks, just wishing I could go on a foreign holiday, it’s just not worth the risk with Covid and the possibility of a 14 day quarantine, we may do some short breaks in the U.K.
