All right, I admit it. The Genius himself. Lord Dame Jeffery Lynne, has hinted that he spent some time in Wales whilst readying himself for the Hyde Park concert - guess where? I'll let him explain: Hello everybody! As you can see I arrived with plenty of supplies from me favourite store, I might look like I just fell out of bed but it takes effort I tell ya Once I'd brushed up, had a look around the house. There's a lot of posters and stuff for some band I've never heard of and hardly anything about me good self, it's an outrage! Did find this old relic of the Bevan the Custard King's, and this tribute to me specs, nice one. Outside for a bit of strumming, s'pose I'd best look willing and make the most of it not raining for a few minutes. Got spooked by a dragon but hid behind me trusty guitar - think I got away with it. Got promised some expensive vintage red wine by me landlady if I'd pose with the flag, bet she sells it on Ebay after. Still, as there was no sign of tea yet thought I'd go along with it. In the second one got spooked again, luckily it wasn't a dragon this time. Blimmin' cat seemed to like me, thought I'd come back in and find this wine, only found yet more posters, who the fook is this miserable bunch? Might have to have a word...after the vino... Still looking...the eyes are following me round the place..I can't have it! At last..Oi! Looks a lot like cheap french red to me - still if it's coming by the pint ya can't complain Thought I'd best show willing with a bit of hoovering - I'm very domesticated, me. Bed time at last, I'm worn out! Still managed to fit in a last bit of practice - Hyde Park - I'm ready for ya! ...and the rest was history....

I wonder if he could make it to the Isle of Man?

Make sure you get in lots of wine (cheap will do, after a few pints he really didn't care), Newcastle Brown, some posters of him (or of ELO with everyone else but R.Tandy scribbled out)and a mirror by the window so he can put his eyeliner on properly.

I'll give him cider instead, He'll love the refreshing taste of pears!

Uno, I must say I'm stunned! I regret so much having doubted you and BSJ! You were right, the Lord Dame and you treat each other as quite close friends and apparently he enjoys staying at your places.
Was he playing "Save me now" for you when sitting at the garden? Didn't he get jealous with so many Muse posters around your home?

Yes, I know it must have been hard to believe - could hardly believe it myself, what a whizz he is with the housework too, who'd have thought it? He did complain about all the eyes in the posters following him around the rooms, a bit of competition will do him good though. Actually I think he's probably hurried back over to BSJ's for some unconditional adoration - my motto of "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen" is not always for him Edit: Save me Now? No, I think it was Sweet is the Night (for reasons I can't go into)

! ! ! Let me in on your secret on how you got the old man to do housework! Not happy with him. Knowing Damey, I am sure you had to hide the straws when you brought out that crate of wine. He'd just plop it on his lap and have his way with it. Is that a ukulele that Our Geo gave Lord Dame? Excellent!

Gah! You know him and his tricksy ways, luckily he responds well to firm treatment or failing that, threats to cut his hair.
I'm sure you had him do some other useful things to pay for his stay - admit it!

Well, at least we know that Jeff isn't above doing housework for his thoughtful and gracious landlord.
... you didn't make him sweep the chimney, did you?
