OK, this is really random. What sound does a pig make in your language (only Europe)? The ones that surprised me the most are the Basque country's "Kurrin" and Finland's "Röh". Nothing like the pigs I know...

Nothing like the pigs I know... Apparently, in Welsh they say "Soch!" as well as "Roch!" Maybe the Valleys pigs have a different accent to the North Welsh porkers. Had to look that up, though!

London's latest "attraction"
Has anyone seen this thing up close? It's not exactly Stonehenge. Marble Arch Mound is an 82 feet tall mud pie deposited near Hyde Park - only costs 8 pounds to climb, but why bother?
it's a "temporary" structure that the Dutch builders say will look better in time (after it's gone?) it looks to me like one torrential downpour could send it sludging towards the Thames then maybe someone could film it for use in a disaster flick

I'm writing the cheque as we speak... If it's signed "H. Wimp" or "F. Luffy" I shall be suspicious.

My husband really enjoys these videos by a British man married to an American woman and living in the US. He calls it "Lost in the Pond." He posts these funny commentaries on his observations of curious cultural differences. I thought it might go over well here on the forum. I like these videos, too, but I haven't seen as many as my hubby.
This is the one we just viewed today.
