Despite many communication blunders on the part of the CDC, in my opinion, they have hit just the right tone in these public service vaccine promo announcements with musical accompaniment: triumphant and joyful in the initial one for adults and older teens; fun and jubilant in the one for younger teens last spring/ summer; and tender and reassuring in the latest ones for children ages 5-11. I love them all. They make me tear up each time I see them.  We've all been through so much these past two years!

I absolutely LOVE this commercial!! ( However, I have 0 interest in the new electric Cadillac). The music is incredibly catchy and it stirs up all kinds of really happy and nostalgic feelings for me.  The red theme reminds me of the DBMD video, too. It reminds me of all the gifted students at the arts middle and high school where I teach, and their joy and exuberance (and pride in each other) in expressing their creativity. Each year, we normally have two school-wide assemblies, where students proudly share their talents in an amazing feel-good afternoon of performances. Sadly, because of the pandemic, we haven't held one of these assemblies since December, 2019  , when my son was one of the featured piano soloists. I'm glad he at least had that opportunity and memory of participating in all of that joy!! I can't wait until we can do that again. I miss that so much! Interesting fact: The man featured in the ad is a British singer and rapper named Labrinth and the song is called Lift Off -- I love it! |

Here's the next in the new electric Cadillac commercial series "The Colors of Emotion- GOLD." Same song, but with electric guitars instead of an orchestra this time. I LOVE it!  Maybe Jeff Lynne could have snagged this gig with "Train of Gold" as the theme song, where he mentions a Cadillac!  |

One national daily newspaper says that it's a bit depressing. I think it's very touching.

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
