I thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite TV commercials. FYI: I do not use (nor do I necessarily endorse) the services of E-Trade, a financial services firm, and I do not subscribe to the some of the materialistic ideas in the commercials, but I find their ads to be quite entertaining.  Their slogan is "Don't get mad. Get E-Trade." Here are two of my favorites: The first one (from 2018)is about older people who cannot afford to retire -- not usually a comedic topic, but... And how about this more recent one, about some posh puppies living it up with a cool, funky song as their soundtrack... |

Looks like ETRADE has hired a great ad agency and is actually allowing them to do their job.
I love the pup getting massaged and the elderly DJ !! lol
Being in advertising myself, I'm always shocked when good ideas make it through the "approval process".

Here are a few more ads from some other financial services companies. This one makes me smile every time I see it! Papa's got some moves!  I think he must be one of the regulars at DJ Nana's dance club!  One with an inept and unethical doctor... I guess these firms must have lots of money to spend on really good ads.  My favorite from AT%T's "Just Okay" series is this one (another one with a medical theme), but there are quite a few really good ones: Mr. Eloneen's favorite AT&T "Just Okay" ad: |

Every time I see this Allstate Insurance commercial, I am reminded of all my forum friends who love cats, and I wonder what you all would think of it. It's part of a long-running series of funny but "in-your-face" ads featuring a character named Mayhem, who basically threatens and/or destroys just about everything that a person might value.  |
