Mike Stevens 'other band'

Mrs T and our daughter went to see Take That last night in Norwich and most of the band were there backing them. A good night was had apparently with Lulu making an appearance and Rick Astley opening.

mrs d is off to see them next week. she made us watch last years concert on sky arts...fair play ..not my taste in music but the show was spectacular... the band we brilliant as well

I'm going to see them tonight at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium, from reports I've read, it should be a good night.

I saw them when Robbie rejoined, it was a fantastic show and the tickets were only about £45, total bargain. And also the only place I've ever seen a fight break out in the crowd at a gig - it was like a giant hen party

I'd really like to see Rick Astley live too, having looked down upon him in the 80's I now think he's proved himself and can properly do the business. Plus he doesn't mind laughing at himself which is always a winner in my book. I think everyone who sees this Take That tour will come away chuffed

Just got back from the show, and it was amazing. Rick Astley was fantastic, he gets better with age. Mike Stevens got to play a sax solo, and Milton McDonald took centre stage for a couple of songs.

I'd love to see Rick Astley live. He seems like a nice chap and has a great voice. I'm not too sure about Take That however, I've still not forgiven them for causing so much excitement by splitting up and then they go and reform again! They just don't look right with only three of them either. But I shall still support them not only because they have the best backing band in the business  but because Gary seems to be a bit Jeff Lynne-ish and was part of Ken Dodd's backing group.
