Thanks! Yeap, the original design featured cables coming out of Jeff's hair and making contact with the lighbulb while Jeff was sitting on top of a potato truck, but marketing experts suggested that copying the General Electric logo would be better.

That's true! I happen to have a copy somewhere of that original version of the logo... Very rare!!!  I don't even know if I would dare to post it here. I'll dig around today and see if I can find it.

So I scrounged around and I found it - the original ELO logo Helmut83 described.

There it is! That should have been the ELO logo! It's so much better than the one they ended up choosing.
