living in the USA, I'm not familiar with Jools Holland's show but it pops up on YouTube once in awhile - was it as always as good as this? 1993 was a good year for many things.
Leonard Cohen & Jellyfish on the same episode. Sadly Leonard has passed on and J'fish broke up. Somebody bring me a time machine. YouTube will have to do for now.
Jellyfish (Leonard smiling at the end of their performance - perhaps it was the lyric "how does it feel, to be a visionary poet" that got to him

after listening to Ghost at Number 1 by Jellyfish, I Googled the song apparently there are some who think it's about Jeff Lynne I would have guessed Kurt Cobain - but after checking the dates, Kurt was still alive when this song came out. And obviously, so was/is Jeff. here's the lyric that makes people think JL (and the fact that ELO is one of the influences for Andy and Ken, founding members of J'fish) << Mrs Lynn, the fruit of your labor Gives us a savior >> but the song is about how artists get enshrined as "perfect" only after they die so if they did have JL in mind, perhaps they meant JL wouldn't be appreciated until afterwards? more likely - they didn't mean to focus on any one artist - but why the Mrs Lynn reference? genius.com/Jellyfish-the-ghost-at-number-one-lyrics
