I know we've been spoiled here in the UK but I hope dates will be added for here too. This could very well be the reason Jeff is doing the Chris Evans show, to announce UK and Europe dates. It certainly doesn't look now as if its for a new album announcement.

Meanwhile, I've got just a few days to convince my husband to come to the show with me. "Pretty please? It will be so much fun!!" I need to go buy some apple pies this afternoon! No apple pie needed!! He said "OK, but only if we stay in a hotel." My response: "Sure!" He's so sweet!! Edit: I just booked a nice hotel within walking distance for a great rate! tightrope are you planning on going to the Atlanta concert, too?

Albert Hall is Tiny ....as lovely as it is, tickets would be bugger to get Summer time there must be a couple of UK stadiums or festivals in there somewhere.
British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival 2019??
I'm hoping he comes West for a change although Cardiff City Stadium have Elton John and Bristol City and Cardiff paid for by the lottery Rugby stadium have Take That so that is a dwindling pot already ....

I can't believe Damey is again playing Detroit. Well, I'm hip. Now he HAS to change the set list.

I know a brother in Tampa FL who would kill to go with me and My Sister and her hubby (My Boss).
I'll be staying in a hotel though as I have issues with My Brother's wife.
Won't be able to snatch the tickets until I get paid the first weekend of November.

I'd like to be able to go to two shows, but I really do want to know if the set list is going to be the same as this year's show. Also, I won't know the exact dates of my summer work schedule until January or February. At that point, if it's not sold out, I can possibly consider the DC concert, which would not involve a plane ticket or a hotel, since I could stay with family there. And what's even better is that none of the 2019 ELO concert dates conflict with our existing summer travel plans. Not bad! I also noticed that there seems to be a little bit of room in the schedule to add dates to certain locations if they want to, but that most of the events are spaced two nights apart. It seems like there is a real commitment this time to cover more of the country. I think they very carefully scheduled the short 2018 US tour after the two city 2016 "tour" to see how enthusiastically US fans would respond. Jeff really got burned with the Zoom tour. I think ELO is feeling the love in the US now!

I wonder if the only pre-sale will be the American Express one? No one in our family uses AmEx. Last time there was a Facebook pre-sale, which was how I got our tickets. I'm usually in charge of picking concert seats, and getting 5 seats together might be tricky if we have to scramble with the general sale. eloneen I think you are right that they were careful about scheduling the 2016 and 2018 US dates. Hopefully we've redeemed ourselves after the failed Zoom tour. That must have been so sad for poor Jeff and Co! I was oblivious to ELO at the time, not having really discovered any music on my own yet. I feel guilty.

BIuebird No need for you to feel guilty. If anything, it was up to us older US fans who already knew about ELO to respond or not...My own ELO fanaticism was dormant at the time, and I was completely oblivious to the album and the tour, honestly.

eloneenAww, well ELO had been inactive for a really long time at that point. It's not surprising that people wouldn't have realized there was a new album/tour happening. At least we've all awoken our fanaticism now.

I know we've been spoiled here in the UK but I hope dates will be added for here too. Sadly, it is my understanding that there were a number of UK venues that weren't sold out. This includes his hometown of Birmingham. I suspect manager Craig Fruin has concluded that the UK market is saturated for the moment and will look elsewhere for voluminous ticket sales. I am fervent in my hope for a Southern Hemisphere tour. The fans in South America and Australia/New Zealand have been waiting so long.

Bubble Gum Orchestra ratted us out on Jeff Lynne's ELO Twitter feed. Grrrr.
BGO, can't you be quiet?
