Unfortunately all the animosity appears to keep coming from Jeff's side. As much as I admire and like Jeff, he really needs to let go of the past because before too long it will be too late and then the regrets will be all he has.

I haven't followed the issue too closely, but I've always gotten that notion too: that the one who doesn't want to forgive and get over the past is Jeff Lynne. Bev Bevan has said several times that he would be up for a reconciliation.

We don't know how the business ended up. Presumably with JL paying him off, it is easy to play the good guy when your career is all but over, you've got the cash and nothing to lose.

It really isn't our business. We have little knowledge of their relationship and it should remain that way.

noticed that Bev didn't mention Richard - the R&RHOF inducted 4 members not 3 the ceremony seemed like the perfect opportunity to bury the old grievances if not then, perhaps never? which is too bad, but there's nothing we can do about it

I have learned as a fan that as much you feel like you can straighten out this riff for their own good. It's best not to get involved in their day to day affairs.
They lead two different lives now and that has to be respected.
