Sky Arts, in the UK, is repeating it on Wednesday at 23.50. Hard to believe it was 15 years ago. Despite all the stars on show, the highlight was Joe Brown, right at the end, singing "I'll See You in my Dreams" on his ukulele as the confetti fluttered down on the audience.

Oh, just remembering Joe singing that song is making me teary . He sang it when I saw him live last year and it was again the highlight of the show.
I hired the dvd from the library in 2012 just to watch Jeff knowing nothing about George's music and by the end of the week (after watching the show at least 6 times) I had learned a lot.

For me, Joe Brown stole the show but with his interpretation of "That's the way it goes" (it's my favourite GH song by the way, but Mr Brown did an amazing work on it).

Goodness, I forgot about this song! It's a great highlight of the show, I can't even imagine George himself singing it now; it's totally Joe's.
It's my mother's favourite and the little couplet: "stocks and shares / stops and stares" is a daily utterance in the house.

Last month when I was at the Isle of Wight we visited a little craft village called Arreton Barns. Dotted around the site are various bits of farm machinery, plaster models of pirates etc all to give "flavour" and character to the attraction. Now, when my mum and I passed by one of these features - a set of wooden boards with hinges, chains and holes - I blurted out "stocks!" (for that is what they were) and she said, without stopping to think, "stocks and shares / stops and stares". This is the level of the George Harrison in our lives.
