Busy times for Banana Llama, he's been interviewing six new applicants for membership of his gang who came home with us from Rome  Having successfully answered his probing questions they've now moved in - the radio corner is looking even more exotic and international than ever.  But whilst Banana Llama is occupied with his multicultural project, what might his evil twin brother, Bandana Llama, be up to? Can't tell you how I received this account, but read on... Lolling in his straw-lined chillout pad, with its view across rolling Argentine pampas, Bandana Llama is enjoying the late evening sun whilst sucking up a nice alcoholic oaty cocktail through a straw. A wicked smirk plays across his woolly face, which worries his hench-llamas because when Bandana Llama is happy it can only be because he's gloating over the misfortune of someone else, and it might not have happened yet. "Meeeheeehhheeeeee!" An uncharitable person might liken BL's cackle of glee to the whinnying of a wheezy donkey who is being unmercifully tickled. But BL chooses not to ever hear unfavourable opinions, preferring to distract himself by visiting much pain and suffering upon the opinion-holder. So his minions merely prick up their ears and await the next pearl of wisdom from their leader. "How I laugh, how I glory in this news of Lorenzo Llama, my old compadre, blazing a trail across the country, sweeping all before him and scaring the spit out of my idiot rival" snickers BL, "He is a legend, nearly as glorious as me" There is a general baa-ing of approval from nearby gang members. "He must be brought to me, so we can carouse away some nights of celebration and toast our mutual greatness - away, my faithful brothers and do not return without him, or else..." A meaningful waggle of BL's feared red bandana and a steely stare is enough to send hench-llamas large and small scurrying in search of Lorenzo. Will he be persuaded to make a detour from his passionate pursuit of Nieve to wallow in depraved mutual ego-massage with his kidhood chum? Well, if you were him, what would you do? |

Wow, Bandana Llama is one intimidating dude, no doubt about that. What I still have my doubts about is the weird army of followers Banana Llama is recruiting, god knows with what purposes. If the Italian new members come from the South of Italy they could well be mafiosos -or simply great artists, as Italy has given birth to so many of them. I wouldn't trust a wolf that feeds human beings and has that menacing expression though...
Let's see if Bandana Llama's men, or, well, herd, can take Lorenzo to their almost almighty boss.

* Sigh * It's a little joke between Nieve and No Cause, that's all.
Nieve sometimes calls her beloved "No Clue" for fun, because she says his eyes remind her of Mr McCartney's. And she thinks he has a lovely singing voice as well.
That's why he signed the card with her special pet name for him.

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
