The correct answer is "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer". Kinda makes me realize why other countries dislike us Americans. Chippa I think there is at least one other reason as of November 2016. smiley-music025

In that same thread I declared my hatred of Stop the Cavalry - I still hate it here. Agree 10000000%
I cringe whenever it I hear it. The worst place is at work. Here, there'll be Christmas songs played on a loop - and this darned thing is on that selection. Along with Fairytale of New York. What a title for an awful song.
Unfortunately, having expressed my feelings openly at work, certain workmates take great pleasure in winding me up. Grrrrr!!!!!!
I haven't read through the entire thread, but among banned songs in my house is something called "The Christmas Song". Basically, it's about a cosy night in. No real relationship to the Nativity.
<PAUSE>
*take DEEP breath - avoid becoming wound up*
I like Christmas.
I like pleasant 'Christmassy' Christmas songs.

Earlier the radio came up with another Christmas song I detest, the dreaded Bruce Springsteen's version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town. I especially hate the way he drags out the word Comiiiiiiiiiing in it. Ack. Yeah, I hate it too! Definitely one of my least favorites. It's also REALLY LONG!!! Or at least it seems like it is.
