I am a member of the Kissfaq forum as well. Today, Jeff Suhs and Curt Gooch, writer of several Kiss books, posted a question about an unconfirmed rumour - that ELO jammed with Kiss on April 14th, 1974, in Louisville, Kentucky. It is confirmed that ELO was in the city on that particular date, playing on the same night as Kiss (but in different venues).
In a 1984 interview, Kiss guitarist Paul Stanley said:
“…guitarist Paul Stanley said he remembered Beggar’s [the venue for the April ’74 show]. ‘Our debut album on Casablanca Records had just been released and we were touring the country playing wherever we could,’ Stanley said. ‘Electric Light Orchestra had played a concert in Louisville that night, and several of the guys in the band came down to Beggar’s to jam with us.’"
Suhs and Gooch has tried to reach both Paul Stanley & Gene Simmons as well as Jeff Lynne & Bev Bevan, but haven't been successful. They DID reach Mik Kaminski, and he says:
Mik Kaminski: “Sorry, no recollection of that happening. It is a long time ago, but I think I would have remembered that. Maybe just some of the band went?”
Can anyone on this board shed a light on this event?

I wouldn't take Miks word for this seeing as the guys drank a lot but you would think that the management or whoever (even the press) would have some sort of record of this...
