I have a question. I had been sent an e-mail from Live Nation Concerts with a code for a pre-sale starting Wednesday, 11/15 at 5pm. I assume it was a benefit for having preordered the CD/Blu-ray bundle, as many Team Jeff's posts had stated before. Was that code the same given to the Showdown mailing list members? Or was their benefit even more 'special'? That would make me very, very angry. I hate these privileges, always benefeciating people who have more money (because they could afford to preorder AND may afford buying a ticket before everyone else) or a particular section of the fan base (because they're on some stupid e-mail list —who the hell uses an e-mail list Useless in the end, because I'm Argentinian and won't attend to any date. You didn't have to pre-order the product to receive the pre-sale code in the Wembley Or Bust promotion, you only had to register with the official website.

Yes, I recall registering on the Landing Soon page but, didn't many posts say that if you had preordered the bundle you would get some benefit or something of the sort?

Yes, I recall registering on the Landing Soon page but, didn't many posts say that if you had preordered the bundle you would get some benefit or something of the sort? You could have pre-order Wembley Or Bust and received the pre-sale code or you could simply have just register to receive the code. There were two options. It was a promotion and as such was linked to Wembley Or Bust. Even the official Jeff Lynne Facebook page was telling people to pre-order and receive the code but when you clicked on the link there was a second option which said "No Purchase Necessary". I guess it confused many. And that may have been the point. From a marketing strategy it appears to have worked out very well for them as the official shop has all sold out. Lots of fans having pre-ordered now have to wait until towards the end of next week to receive their orders.
