Wow, Horacewimp, what an inspired streak of facts! The title of King of Factual Fascination is still vacant, although not for long if you keep on illuminating us with so many ELO indisputable facts.

I’ve been saving them up for you so you didn’t miss them while on holiday. Like the story on the last tour when the three lady string players wanted to do a tribute to the old ELO players. They all wore false beards and thought it a good idea to paint their violin and cellos in paint, they asked Jeff what colour they should use and he said it’s impossible we are “Out of the Blue”.

A lingerie and underwear company wanted to use ELO songs for their range of garments, they suggested the following ranges.
Don’t Pull them Down. Midnight Blue. Livin’ Thong. Dirty to the bone. Rock-bra-ria Alright 😍 Hold on Tight (support range) The Bouncer (not so supportive)
Jeff was considering the offer but refused when they wanted the XXXL sizes to be called “The Whale”

Once, when Jeff dozed off in the dressing room, a naughty bandmate painted both his thumbnails with Sharon's bright red varnish. He was so embarrassed, he actually spoke to the crowd to thank them, at the end of the show.

Listening to ELO cures headaches. ...or maybe it was just cos I was hungry and finally ate something. Listening to ELO cures anything. well...almost anything. Listening to ELO ballads ( *ahem* Telephone Line) at 1am because you are sad usually results in crying, haha. Though even when you aren't sad this has been known to happen. I was getting some help in chemistry before school while listening to ELO on Spotify. A live version of Can't Get it Out of my Head played, and the sheer beauty and emotion in Jeff's voice moved me to tears. So much for getting my work done that morning, oops

When he first moved to the USA, Richard lived on the 17th floor of an apartment block.
Ironically, the entry doorbell's ringtone was "Don't Bring Me Down".

A clinic in the Midlands is advertising its new aquatic therapy for patients. They put on "Standin' In The Rain" and tip a bucket of water over your head.

Who'd have thought it - ELO have even made it into the Oxford English Dictionary. Well, one of them has:
