After having a hit with Clog Dance Mik asked Jeff for a raise, this wasn't quite what he expected. Hahaha brilliant!

Brilliant as usual Especially love the Tandy Warhol creation, I'm sure that would sell well as a poster I'd buy one!

This spring, Jeff wouldn't go on tour until he'd finished retiling his bathroom. (Insiders say he was helped in this task by a visitor from South America.)

In the early years, when times were hard, some of the band members earned extra money by modelling for knitting patterns. They were so embarrassed at doing this, they used to hide their faces to stop anyone from recognising them. But true hardcore ELO fans will probably be able to work out who was who:

I'm guessing songs, if that's okay?
1) Steppin Out 2) Caught In A Trap 3) Can’t Get It Out Of My Head (Mike Edwards) 4) No clue who the dude in last photo tune is, but may I have him in all sizes? Please. (Damey's belly button? OH! Livin Thing!)

Good answers, BSJ - 3) Mike Edwards was an inspired guess. It's true, this brief work experience inspired some of the band's future recordings: Standin' In The Skein Great Balls Of Fibre Sweater From Spain Your Woolly, 2095 Needles Her Love Oh, No, Knits Season Pullover Beethoven The Wool (an instrumental on Out Of The Blue) And of course, they now knew about the Jumpers Biz.

Over the years, ELO's tour bus has featured some special dashboard symbols unique to the band. Here are a few of the more useful warning lights:
