Had mine about a month now and not watched it yet! Hopefully this weekend or next week when my son gets home for Xmas.... I'm getting mine as a xmas present, so I haven't watched it yet either! Come over to my place and we'll watch it over a few beers (lo-cal for you obviously...)

With 'Bust' I wouldn't say that it was because of quality, more getting a new continuity right. About half a dozen songs were missing. Among them were a couple of surprises - Last Train To London and Twilight. If you have the opportunity, get yourself either the DVD or BluRay to enjoy the full concert. I think that both of these also offer the concert on two CDs. Handy for the car It's curious. I can look at the Hyde Park gig now and again, but will be unmoved by it. 'Bust', on the other hand, leaves me with a tear in my eye and a smile on my face. It makes me happy. I won't tire of watching it.

It was an interesting marketing move putting it 'ont tele before christmas and not sure what the viewing figures were but see the album has come back into the top 30 again, so it may have paid off... are there more interviews with the band as well as missing songs?

Timeblue What are your thoughts on the Wembley video? Have you watched it yet? I'd be interested in knowing what you think, since you were one of the forum members there at the concert.

Would you believe that we still haven't watched it yet? We were due to do so on Xmas Eve but our annual tradition of monopoly took place instead. We will watch it this week sometime!

Well I've actually rec'd mine now as an xmas pressie, but the only available dvd player has a 6inch screen (we're camping) - I might wait a while before watching it!

I've had my copy for a couple of weeks but waited to watch it until tonight. To celebrate the birthday, ya know😉
Just heard the part where Jeff says that Richard is expected to be with them on the next tour. WooHoo!

Finally watched it last! It was almost everything I expected it to be but was slightly put off with all the interjections throughout the show.I would have preferred to watch the show in full. Loved the people dancing in the aisles young and old, even the woman who sang 'bruce' to DBMD. Jeff's voice really hasn't changed much over the years and every song was faithfully done. Anfother thing that struck me was how un rock n roll the band are! Only Milton on lead looked anything like a rock star, with the rest (Jeff included) looking more like teachers and shop keepers lol not that I'm complaining,it's the music they make that is important and boy we were not disappointed. Loved WWH and Twilight the best with CGIOOMH being awesome too.The light show looked good on dvd but didn't come over as fantastic as it was on the night, I remember being in awe with all the lasers flying around when it got dark. I'll watch the extras sometime this week, so all in all it was a great show and just how I remembered it. Did anyone spot the autocue box's on stage? I guess these are a new thing for Jeff since the Hyde Park show where he forgot a few lines but we can forgive him that now and again. Once again,a great show.....

OK Timeblue... So what exactly is wrong with looking like a teacher?? Just because they look like happy, healthy, well adjusted adults ? Can't be content just picking on Americans (and the Droolers - but I'll let them defend themselves), can you? Gotta mess with teachers, too? I guess if you were there, the conversations do feel like interruptions, but for me at least, that aspect adds warmth to the experience of watching it. I'm glad to hear that the light show is even better in person. I'm really looking forward to that at the Philly concert next summer!! Thanks!

Timeblue I know you're just kidding! I've seen old photos of JL with beer onstage, but other than Hugh's craziness, ELO has never come across as a bunch of wild "bad boys." On the other hand, I do know many an American teacher with lots of tattoos, and some have been driven to drink by the stresses of the job. Just sayin.'
