Wouldn't it be ironic if Louis Clark was involved with this project? Joking aside, I'd actually welcome his involvement - getting to hear one of Jeff's biggest influences receiving a treatment with ELO-style string arrangements might help show off the musical links...

That track's not bad. The strings give it extra ELO-ness.

i think the ward thomas vocals detract from this, it is a shame they are on it in my view. There are two versions of that track on the album - the one with Ward Thomas is the last track so easy to avoid if you're not keen!

I like some of the extra orchestration but can't decide if it necessarily improves on the original. For example, A Love So Beautiful - a gorgeous song originally with some strings but this version just seems to lack something.......... probably Jeff!
