Something like this is nice to have. Unlike a regular family tree (which I did for my family) it's simpler, you don't have to note the great, great, great, great's (Finding out you've miss counted great's is nooooo fun! ).

In the third section of this family tree alone, I don't see any mention of Player, OrKestra, Tandy-Morgan or the subsequent Tandy Morgan Smith... As this work's clearly not been updated since before ELO Part II became The Orchestra, maybe a revised version could be produced?

Since this was made in the mid 90's then an updated version could be made, but you'd have to do it for the other bands too.

Yes it's 22 years out of date, but it does miss out Bev Bevan's stint in Black Sabbath in the 1980's. It also misses out that Bob Brady was in Wizzard, he replaced Bill Hunt on keyboards in early 1974. There are loads more bands that should be in it, all Roy Wood's post Wizzard projects, Trevor Burton Band, The Old Horns Band, Rockstar, Bev Bevan Band, Bev Bevan's Move, Sheridan / Price, BBBV, Session 60, Jeff Lynne's ELO, etc.
I posted it for the benefit of our foreign members who don't know how the ELO came about, some newer fans have never heard heard of the Move, Idle Race, Nightrider's, Carl Wayne and the Vikings, The Ugly's, Denny Laine and the Diplomats or Gerry Levene and the Avengers. All of these bands contained members who later became members of ELO.
Here's a short video of The Old Horns Band, featuring Bob Brady, Charlie Grima, Nick Pentelow and the late Mike Burney, all former Wizzard members.

If you were to do a COMPLETE history of the Brum scene,I guess you would be looking at a show that would be at least 5 hours if not more in length? This show just highlighted the scene and all the basic facts are there,we fans on here already know the details.

There were over 200 active bands in the Birmingham area in the 1960's.
Here are the results of a poll to decide the first 'Midland Beat' personality band of the year (1964), "Talismen" were the winners.

Interesting to note that from that list, only The Rockin Berries really made it. Of course members from other bands would obviously go onto bigger things...(I wonder what happened to Hurricane Henry and the Shriekers?)

(I wonder what happened to Hurricane Henry and the Shriekers?) Hurricane Henry was Ian Hunter from Mott The Hoople.
