Here is a rare acoustic version of ELO's first song, the class 10538 Overture.

Interesting promo pic with Richard looking away in a premonition of the back cover of Face the Music. And who are the two guys at either end of the back row? The one on the right looks a bit familiar but the other one stumps me. Great to hear an acoustic version of this though, thanks for sharing bluey

I don't know how I managed to get here unomusette,
But here goes.
The guy on the left of the back row is the late Steve Woolam, the bands first violinist. Steve was fired by Roy Wood, a few months later Steve jumped from a high building to his death, I've read that his suicide was due to a failed romance and nothing to do with exit from ELO.
The guy on the right of the back row is Trevor Smith, he was ELO's sound engineer and part time cellist. Roy Wood took Trevor, Bill Hunt and Hugh McDowell with him when he formed Wizzard.
The photo is actually on the front of the sheet music book, it was common in those days for sheet music books to be issued for single releases.
I hope that's helped you.
Dave.

That version sounds very folky.
