Here is an interview with a drunken bunch of blokes by the name of Electric Light Orchestra. The video was recorded after the bands Rockpalast tv show performance in Hamburg, I think the German bier is too strong for these English guys with the big fiddles, especially the one by the name of Jeff Lynne, his eyes are so glassy that you could play a game of marbles with them.
Hope you enjoy the video, burp, hic.

Isn't it great? I'm pretty sure it's cropped up around here before somewhere but it does bear repeating

The interviewer is very annoying. But, the boys are fun to watch.

Mike Edwards always looked 50. Hugh was sort of hot, wasn't he? Jeff, Mik and Richard all look like they're stoned out of their gourds. lol

I posted it on here last year. Hi Timeblue,
Sorry, I didn't know that the interview had already been posted, I haven't had the time to sift through all the old threads and posts.
At least newer members won't have seen it before.

You're right about Mike Edwards, he never did look young. Mike looked strange playing his cello dressed in top hat and tails. It's a shame that there's no video footage of Mike playing his exploding cello with a grapefruit.
Mik has moved on from drinking beer to drinking white wine, Whenever I saw him perform at The Keys restaurant in Huddersfield he's drinking a copious amount of white wine. He still plays his violin great whether drunk or sober.

The post of mine led to another thread about Jeff swearing...lol Jeff sings the 'F' word in "Oh No Not Susan" from "On The Third Day".
The BBC failed to spot it and the track was played regularly BBC Radio 2.
