Sometimes I feel like I'm been watched if I sense this I'll speak out aloud "I'm only here to do a survey then I'll leave you in peace" this seems to appease the ghosts either that or it makes me feel better. Haha... Cautious and wise approach. You better be sure you are alone when you do that, if the owner of the local happens to be around there he may think he just hired a madman to do the works. The other gang turned up, at the opposite end of the alley. Battle lines were being drawn when the lads suddenly saw a shadowy figure walking through the alley. When this figure turned round, they saw it was a nun, with no face. None of them slept that night. Did they hold the combat anyway? Or did they interprete the nun had shown up in order to prevent violence? Pretty savage the way those kids behaved.

True, what a bunch of tearaways. And he went on to become our teacher! Great role model.

I was walking my dog and as you sometimes do when walking a dog I had started up a conversation with a passerby who had remarked about the cuteness of my dog. He was a teenage boy. We had been chatting for a couple of minutes when I got the uneasy feeling that he was flirting with me. I assure you that this isn’t the kind of thing I just imagine. I’m usually the opposite where when I get hit on I’m totally oblivious to it. I was in my thirties at the time and I’m certain he could tell I wasn’t in his age range. I don’t think I imagined it and I have no idea what his motivation was. Maybe he was messing with me or testing boundaries. Maybe he was a little weird. Maybe he had just watched The Graduate. He had a very innocent looking face but there was something off about him. I wasn’t flattered. I broke off the conversation and headed home, looking back once in a while to make sure he couldn’t see where I was going. When I got in my house I nervously looked into my back yard. I was about 99.999% percent certain he would be standing in my back yard staring at me like this: Haha, well, you might have watched a good fair lot of horror stuff if you were already thinking that the kid would teletransport himself to your back yard and be waiting for you there. I have to say I admire your principles and your strictness though (not sure if you were with Mr. Elophile already). I don't approach people who are way younger than me -in another age range, as you say- with those purposes, but if it's them who approach me you can be sure I won't have as many problems... Maybe it was a lost opportunity for you, who knows?

Maybe it was a lost opportunity for you, who knows? I think the only missed opportunity was the opportunity to have my skin turned into a "lady suit"

I think one of the lessons we can learn from this thread is Trust Your Instincts. If it feels bad it probably is bad, run away!

But just before I left, in the last tower I visited (The Cradle?), I felt something very, very scary. I don't know what it was, perhaps it was the feeling of being watched or just bad vibes but it wasn't very nice and I didn't like to be alone in there. Why were you alone? There weren't any other tourists with you in such an ants' nest as The Tower of London? It was later in the day, almost closing time and the tower wasn't close to the main attractions - a bit out of the way. In fact the spooky tower didn't really have anything much to see in it unlike the all others.
The Bloody Tower has been so over commercialised the ghosts have probably left but the in spooky tower they may still remain because nobody is looking for them?

In the countryside there's endless stories about appearances which happen at night, some in the outside and some inside sheds, barnes, etc... There's a few characters that repeat themselves: a bride all dressed up in her attire, a very big dog, a spirit which plays instruments if you leave them outside under the last quarter moon, a rag doll which can be found up the trees and of course the local version of the werewolf, which comes out on full moons at 12:00. The bride is said to have been spotted by different people (including the guy who works there) in a forest which is roughly 50 or 100 metres away from my family's house. I never saw anything though. Then there's also the myth that if an owl steps on the roof of a house and sings, someone in that house is going to die soon (same if there's a group of people under a tree and the owl sings from that tree).
There's something much more interesting though because it's real: the "luz mala", which means "bad light". This is a natural phenom which hasn't been given a solid explanation due to the fact that it's so difficult to study, but it is quite accepted that it's a gas or group of gases that come out from the bones of dead animals or other organic matter in decomposition which are lying either on the surface or buried not to deep into the ground. These gases form a ball of yellow or white light which wanders erratically around the fields at night for a considerable time, then it suddenly goes out leaving no trace. It has received that name because of the superstitious terror it generated -and still generates-, but it has never damaged anyone. I can tell you this is not a legend but 100% true because my father, who is the most skeptical guy on Earth, has seen it. Most everyone who has spent his life living in the country has seen it at least once.

I think that's all my best stuff! I've got one more that's not as good and I might post Mr Elophile's childhood paranormal experience. Also, my mom had one in the house I grew up in... I think it was pretty creepy. maybe I can get her to refresh my memory. Stay tuned!!!

Let me share with you this story about an old storied mansion in Wisconsin in case anyone wants to see it. It's incredibly interesting as to how these forces work, but, I warn you it's pretty scary, particularly because it's supposed to be real, so if you are easily "scareable" you might want to avoid watching it:
It's made in a way you can only watch it on part of the screen, this is to avoid copyright claims putting down the video.

Thanks, BSJ . This one? It has an oval that distorts the image, a bit pesky but if it makes it work... Otherwise there's this one, but it's in 240:
