Here's some really great footage of Jeff Lynne working with one of his idols, the late Del Shannon, during the making of what would become Del's posthumous album "Rock On!". We also see Tom Petty, and various Heartbreakers.
Funny side note-Jeff said he loved working with Del, but that Del was always "pissed" aka drunk.

Del is really the perfect musician for Jeff's production. In his voice is the sound I hear whenever I hear any Jeff production. |

Dels youngest daughter was able to meet up with Jeff after one of the Hollywood Bowl concerts, she is very sweet.

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
