Made a visit to Cardiff at the weekend to see ARW. Apart from being absolutely amazing I would just like to comment on Lee. Forum members who have seen Jeff Lynne's ELO play live would know what an excellent bass player he is. Well, at one point in the evening it became ' The Lee Pomeroy Show ' . In their tribute to Chris Squire, Lee came to the front to perform 'The Fish' . I would rate him as one of the worlds most outstanding bass players of all time,...mind blowing! The other four members were brilliant too.

Totally agree with you on this. I've also seen him with Steve Hackett's band and he was pivotal to their sound on stage as well.
Back in the 1980s and 90s, Tony Levin and Nathan East were the 'go to' bass men. Having seen those two on a number of occasions as well over the years, I think Lee is comfortably their equal.
