Just arrived in the land of dragons and lots of unpronounceable town names starting with double 'Ll...' (still not seen vlogdance yet though...) Photos later.

Aww, shame you didn't have the traditional soggy Welsh weather but I'm sure you made the best of those nice blue skies. Great pics, thanks for sharing

What is the small building?
Mrs Timeblue seems a sure shot.

What is the small building? Mrs Timeblue seems a sure shot. That's where we stayed, I think it was an old storehouse. Yesterday was our wedding anniversary (also St George's Day) I think the dragon was trying to get her revenge by using a crossbow ...

Lovely pics Horacewimp! Especially pleased you recorded the cacti which all look in the peak of health. And what a cute bunny!

Great pics, Horace. Love the bar El Elefante - Nellie's taking her bow. What a magnificent cluster of Wilfs. And your wildlife photography's getting as good as your selfies.

Looks like a fantastic holiday, Horace! As sunny the name suggests. How hot was it?
Those must have been Wilf's cousins who are into bodybuilding.

Looks like a fantastic holiday, Horace! As sunny the name suggests. How hot was it? Those must have been Wilf's cousins who are into bodybuilding. It was 23-24 Deg C with a real feel temperature of a few Deg higher so nice and pleasant but not over powering. It was, between Torremolinos and Benalmadena.

After purchasing tickets three years ago for the Spa Francorchamps F1 Grand Prix in Belgium we finally got to attend this weekend, we were unable to go for the last three years because of covid and entry restrictions. In that time the grandstand we were booked into has been knocked down and brand new one build in its place, the circuit were great and held our tickets until we could attend. We flew to Dusseldorf and picked up a hire car, on the way to our hotel we stopped off at the Max Verstappen shop in Nederlands for my daughter to pick up merchandise, the car he won his first grand prix is on show there. Here are some pictures inside the shop. We drove onwards into Belgium to stay at our hotel in the countryside, the only downside was lots of mosquitoes. The hotel was in walking distance of a village called Banneux where a young girl had apparitions of the Virgin Mary and hence many pilgrims go there for a visit and to get Holy water. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_BanneuxWe wondered why the hotel doors were locked at 10.30pm as there were a few bars and restaurants in the village but we found they all closed at 4.00-5.00pm when the pilgrims have gone, this left us no choice but to get chips from the roadside Frite shop, then go to the hotel bar. We had early starts and spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the track, we had a great time, our grandstand is the large one with a roof, we had third row central seats so a brilliant view of Eau Rouge and Raidillon and the cars coming down the hill from La Source, in the distance we could see the pit entry and Chicane. On the Sunday after the race the track was opened to the public so we joined in the invasion. Our flight home on Monday wasn't until early evening so on the way back to Düsseldorf we stopped off in Cologne for a few hours, saw some sights and had lunch, it was a nice City, I plan to return with Mrs Wimp. Next year we plan to go to Silverstone
