Sad to see that over Christmas, Team Rock, who publish Classic Rock, Prog Rock, and Metal Hammer, magazines ,(among others) went bankrupt and consequently, have ceased publication of all their titles.

Yes I was very sad to read this as well. I guess that in the end, circulation numbers do the talking.
In that sense, I really hope that Record Collector manages to keep its head above the water, I've been buying that magazine month in, month out (well, four weekly these days) since 1982!

Very sad . These were the only magazines I bought these days. I stopped getting Q and Mojo in 2002 when they stopped printing the kind of features I liked to read.
I only recently discovered that Record Collector started out as an extension of the Beatles Monthly Magazine en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Record_Collector

Ah, this is sad news especially if Record Collector bows out. We used to subscribe to Classic Rock but it did become very samey so we cancelled. Plus you can access a lot of the upcoming gig info online. If a lot of others did the same it was only a matter of time before this happened.
