I stare at the pan for 45 minutes. Then put the water and rice in. Then stare more....then cook.

unomusette! Woody's Parrots!
The potatoe holes were too large, didn't have an apple coring tool, used knife and spoon so the carrots fell out! Only could save three pieces out of one large potatoe! I ate the mess for lunch and it was good!

Is it wrong that that potato dish disturbs me? Just something about it is alarming in a may-have-nightmares kind of way....
Could it be those orange eyes looking at me?

All hail me ninja twin, BSJ is the queen of parrots! I wonder if Woodeye's original recipe could be improved by putting something like cream cheese in the hole with the carrot? No, Bevey, NOT custard I think you can make something like Helmut83 's dulce de leche by getting a tin of condensed milk and boiling it in a pan of water for ages. It comes out like a kind of toffee, I think I remember the TV chef Gary Rhodes doing it. Here's a recipe from 'tinternet www.taste.com.au/recipes/38234/caramel+from+sweetened+condensed+milkThree hours though! Imagine the gas bill!
