Here is something i wanted to do for a very long time... I'm just curious, what are your top 10 songs that Jeff produced for other artists? Here is my list (at least for today...):
10) "do what ya gotta do" by Bryan Adams 9) "you got it" by Roy Orbison 8) "limbo" by Julianna Raye 7) "are you lovin' me too" by Del Shannon 6) "that's what it takes" by George Harrison 5) "blue beyond the grey" by Jimmy Nail 4) "walk away" by Del Shannon 3) "learning to fly" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers 2) "slipping away" by Dave Edmunds 1) "this is love" by George Harrison

It's too hard to choose!
I might easily say the whole of Cloud 9, of course. Even though I know that's 11 songs!

There is a lot of amazing stuff on Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers "Into the Great Wide Open" album, including some songs that are rocking harder than anything Jeff has ever done. It's probably my favourite Jeff Lynne production.
I'm not too sure about the actual order of my Top 10 of songs, but at least "Built To Last" should be in that list. It's that special.
Also, the musical arrangement of the Traveling Wilburys' "Margarita" is truly outstanding.
I also enjoy Jimmy Nail's song "Blue Beyond the Grey" a lot, and Rossif Sutherland's "Waiting For the Train". Del Shannon's "Lost in A Memory" is also truly special because of its orchestra of acoustic guitars and the bits of percussion joining them.
