You'll have to buy a bus ticket, BSJ . I hear they're rather expensive, though. I shouldn't think you'll get much change out of 'A Thousand Pounds'. "I WON'T PAY IT!" Nothing's free these days! (Except those ninja slipper sessions they award to the deserving.)

Yes, but it will be extra for the pom-poms on the slipper, and extra for the soothing balm afterwards I shouldn't wonder...

I have to say that 10 years ago I WOULDN'T HAVE let anything ELO related enter my ears, if it did I would have felt instant pain (happily I have now mended my ways). So I believe I must already have suffered this torment so I think I should go free to dance along to 'Four Little Diamonds' once again.
If not, I would listen to all the music that Jeff listened to before he started writing, his influences. And then move on to music that sounds similar to ELO (no shortage of that!) and afterwards I'll listen to all those bands that are indirectly connected to Jeff either through the Birmingham scene or by recording label etc.
Where there's a will there's a way. I'll break out of this ungodly sentence like Andy broke out of Shawshank!
