The judgment is over. You have been declared guilty. Be quiet, it's time for the sentence. For 10 years, you are forbidden to listen to: a. any song by the "Electric Light Orchestra" b. any song produced, written or in which "Jeff Lynne" played an instrument c. any song in which a current or past member of the "Electric Light Orchestra" has done anything (this includes production, songwriting and playing) To enforce the penalty, the government has installed microscopic ear probes that will detect any song that meets the above criteria and block it from entering your ears. What do you do?

Listen to The Beatles instead? Except Free as a Bird and Real Love cause of course they were produced by Jeff

Lead a revolt against the government, which results in Anarchy. Then listen to whatever the fuck I want.

Lead a revolt against the government, which results in Anarchy. Then listen to whatever the fuck I want. That sounds like a plan, how dare the government tell us who to listen to! They've obviously got a problem with our Jeff and ELO, power to the people and all haha

Lead a revolt against the government, which results in Anarchy. Then listen to whatever the fuck I want. I second that. We shouldn't even wait for a sentence which forbids us listening to any JL related song.

I would not be able to drive my car! As some of you know, it won't start without Eldorado playing.

I'd join the revolt and indulge even more in the glorious works of Muse whilst waiting for victory.
But of course it wouldn't come to this once Jeff heard about it, the government would find itself facing his lawyers pretty pronto. Bless him.

To confuse the state I would listen to the ELO records backwards, at least some of them would sound normal.

I'd sing all the ELO songs I liked. Repeatedly. Everywhere I went. That'd get the penalty overturned in no time.

I would not be able to drive my car! As some of you know, it won't start without Eldorado playing. You'll have to buy a bus ticket, BSJ . I hear they're rather expensive, though. I shouldn't think you'll get much change out of 'A Thousand Pounds'.

One time my car wouldn't start! Thought I was out of gas. Nope. Just had the wrong CD in (it won't even tolerate Traveling Wilbury's!) And, I learned the hard way that if I take 'Eldorado' out when driving, little monster shuts off!
