Surrender and Boy Blue are the two winners from round one and move into the semi finals.
Round two brings us the above songs with Blue either in their title or lyrics, which is the best?
You can vote for two songs, the top two moving on to the semi finals.

Not easy. Rain is Falling and Blue.

It is a hard choice, I've gone for Bluebird is Dead as it was the B side of the first single I bought and The Rain is Falling.

Thanks for the welcome and good to know I'm not the only one who loves Midnight Blue! As for the username origin, I am genuinely rubbish at thinking up usernames, the gone wild of course is reference to Loser Gone Wild Also I wouldn't propose straight away if you sang me that song, I wouldn't be surprised if I did do that, you ran off into the sunset! I'm not really the type to propose to a guy anyway, I'd be wayy too shy! Helmut83

Platypus Haha I find if the guy likes the same music to me, it is something that I find quite attractive! If they can sing and play an instrument too that's a bonus!

I had to think for quite a while to remember which song was simply called "Blue". My vote goes to "Bluebird is dead" and "Rain is falling" (as rain is falling heavily in Buenos Aires right now). Also I wouldn't propose straight away if you sang me that song, I wouldn't be surprised if I did do that, you ran off into the sunset! I'm not really the type to propose to a guy anyway, I'd be wayy too shy! Helmut83 Well, that brings back some confidence to me, I think I'll play you the song then. It adds that I'll get bonus points for playing instruments, but those points could be neutralized in case I sang along (if that happens it's likely that it will be you who will run off into the sunset ).

I look forward to hearing you sing it! I was just listening to Jeff sing it not so long ago and as usual it made my heart melt! Haha I'd probably sing along too though!

How many songs with Blue in them H W? I can't quote Horace because the previous poll (where he said this) is already closed, but he said: " I have found thirty songs that fit this criteria and for fun will run a poll to find out which is the best ". Then women complain that we don't listen to them when they speak to us...

I look forward to hearing you sing it! Oh, no, you don't, trust me! With Jeff it can be a heart-melting experience. With me it could be more like a horror show. Given that you confessed to be keen on singing along, I could play and you could sing though!

I've had enough practice singing in the shower to try and capture the same tone as Jeff exhibits!

The shower is fantastic for making a good singer out of any pedestrian, so that's more than enough practice! Some of my female singers used to practice while hoovering the vacuum cleaner and cooking and they came out to be awesome singers, so I don't see why someone who sings in the shower couldn't...

I have been known to sing when I've been driving my car, even better when no one else is in the car because you can have it on any volume you want and sing as loud as you want! I have sang whilst cleaning and hoovering I did used to be in the choir at primary school, so I could attribute that to my singing skills haha

Well, like you, another of my female singers used to sing on a choir too and I had fantastic results with her as well, so you are checking all the boxes! (For the record, vlogdance is the one who used to be in a choir, and the one who used to sing along with the vacuum cleaner will be revealed very soon in the "Music" section of this forum). What about singing when there's someone else in the car? Do your passengers usually enjoy the experience a much as you do? I'm afraid we should go on with this conversation somewhere else or we'd be derailing the subject of the thread too much...
