Spirals is neat, jiminyjellysolo, I could imagine it behind the opening credits of a quirky French film

unomusette everything in my life is quirky. I have begged for it to stop but the realm of existence has chosen for me to live in a sort of quirky limbo. I try to write a normal song and I lose consciousness only to awaken hours later to excessive use of phaser and twangy guitar. It is so tortuous. Only God can save me now.

Both the links work for me, try it without the ?dl=0 on the end.

There we go, got it to work! Thank you @horacewimp and sorry for the trouble.
Helmut83, you are a good song writer. I think it's got a good beat and bass line, a variety of well-played instruments, and interesting lyrics. I do like the arrangement and the guitar solo too. unomusette is a great addition and has a very nice voice. I especially like the "Woo!" that was put in there. I hope you all continue to do this stuff.

Thank you @eloaddict . To be fair, I didn't play bass but did the bassline on computer, and the same goes for the drums, so I don't deserve much credit for that. I played electric guitar -backing and lead-, harmonica, keyboards and cowbell though. You know, the well appears to have gone dry lately. It's been a while since I last wrote a song. I'm 33 already and they say that as you grow older you start losing your creativity, it might have to do with that. What about you? Have you got anything to share with us?

I like this song! Well produced, not too much noise. Instruments come in clear. Have you ever considered stacking your vocals?

Thanks! Uuuhhhm, no, not really. I thought if there's one thing my voice has is body (thickness)... then, singing bad won't be corrected by adding more stacks. But it could be a good idea though.
Despite the guys jokingly calling me "Mr. Producer", I'm extremely basic at it and never made a point of improving either. I enjoy more songwriting and playing than producing, and as long as I can get my songs recorded reasonably similar to what I have in mind, that's enough for me.

Nice track "Funwinding" by the way, it reminds me a lot of those Family Game (NES) or Commodore 64 games' tracks, like for example Street Hassle. Similar style, dynamic, electronic music.

What about you? Have you got anything to share with us? lol I will spare everyone the agony. I enjoy the guitar to relax but that's about the extent of things. Much more suited to the listening side!
