Wish I could wear headphones for the end of the song! (I turn up the volume when re-listening) A very dark, mysterious subject matter and I’m trying not to read too much into it, though. Enjoyable change of pace and soothing vocals from our unomusette ! She's been lured in by “Daddy” and can give us no hope from not being lured in too!
You've great style Helmut83 , blending blues, pop and soul. Nifty slow guitar jam, funky bass (this really shone for me) and a favorite, harmonica.
Huh, dumb of me, I understood you were saying they had a similar sound! I might have been self-suggested beforehand because my family members seem to give me a lot of that feedback, and I'm aware that to a certain extent using that software traps me inside it's sound and narrows down the possibilities I have to make my songs different to each other from a "production" point of view -regardless of whether they are harmonically different-, and that frustrates me a bit.
Anyway, any criticism is welcome, what frustrates me is not being able to unstick myself away much from the typical Band-in-a-Box sound.
In any case, glad to know what you were saying was the opposite and you found this song different from other previous ones. Maybe it's the drums higher in the mix, could be, or maybe the electric guitar playing 5ths in the background.

I guess I'm going to share some of my music with you guys. But I don't have any of my recordings or equipment with me as I'm out of town for a while. So here is a little ditty I made on Fruity Loops. Spirals
It's how I wish I would feel when I wake up in the morning. I'm thinking this might sound interesting on the piano. What do you guys think?

Thank you. No bongos here. All purely digital. Made by filling in little blocks of musical notes with Fruity Loops in about four hours. Because who needs to learn an instrument these days right? Edit: Okay, I did use Cubase to add some echo/reverb but that's it.
Horacewimp: I did, it sounds interesting

Horacewimp: We are all good thanks, just wishing I could go on a foreign holiday, it’s just not worth the risk with Covid and the possibility of a 14 day quarantine, we may do some short breaks in the U.K.
