Wow, Horace! What a great collection of photos, you are spoiling us! Loved the one of the Empire State Builsing lit up, even the sky looks a bit blue as if northern lights were happening simultaneously. The city looked from above it is quite a frightening sight I must say. Also, what a great view of the falls you had from your hotel!
Looks like some great holidays. What I was wondering is if you have curry all year round in Birmingham, shouldn't it be the other way round and stop having curry in vacations?

Thanks millions for posting that splendid collection of pics, Horacewimp - you really do have a knack for booking hotels with good views, don't you? Not to mention discovering a curry in every country, looking very yummy indeed

H W told us about his valiant journey up the Empire State building and the CNN Tower. Seems he did a lot of wall hugging. Cruel seeing those “sharks” through the floor window, hanging around for their next meal.
Nice shot from the Empire, and lit up. Just beautiful.
You did have the perfect hotels rooms. Not too high, good view. View of the Falls, too! They are amazing!
Did you walk out to the light house? Nice shot.

Ha! I hadn't noticed that. Seriously, the kid seems fascinated by the ELO spaceship (either that or Horace's pec muscles).

Who’s the cultured kid showing interest in your ELO T- shirt? smiley-cool15 We did walk down to the light house and disturbed all the sea gulls which were congregating there. The kid is my wife's, sisters, sons, son. Don't know what relation that makes him to me, I didn't notice he was an ELO fan You can't tell from the picture but our hotel room in NYC was on the 28th floor, it doesn't look high up when you compare it to the Empire State Building

I don't think so, BSJ. He couldn't even tell the grade of relation the kid had with him properly... Given that your daughters are known as Daughter #1 and Daughter #2, you could label this kid with a generic "Relative #29" and that would solve the issue, Horace.

Wow! a great set of photos, Horacewimp ! Especially Niagra. It's so big and that boat looks perilously close to the edge.
