Going to see Mik and the gang in Chautauqua, in August! Was going to see them in Colorado Spgs this month but show canceled. Ticket arrived in mail, I'm very excited!

The Orchestra played on the Moody Blues Cruise in April. Roger Daltrey also played on the cruise, and had Mik Kaminski do the solo on Baba O'Riley! Look it up on youtube...excellent!

The Orchestra have a website, and if you go to the Guestbook page you will see how they shortchange the British fan. If you're a Brit don't plan on seeing The Orchestra in your own country. However if you can afford to go to America or Eastern Europe....enjoy.

They are coming to Finland next year. I'm going to see them, of course, but in a local magazine the ad said "ELECTRIC LIGHT ORHCESTRA" in big capital letters, like a logo. The Orchestra, the actual name of the band, was nowhere to be seen! I know that the band isn't responsible for this, but ads like this probably make a lot of peope go, "Have you heard that ELO is touring again? I already got my ticket." By the way, was Louis an official member of ELO at some point, because he's promoted as such? I know that he did orchestrations, but he wasn't a member then. Was he an official member when he toured with them?

By the way... you're so lucky to be going to see The Mik-estra, er, The Orchestra. I'd love to go!

I'd love to go! * eyes up piggy bank, reaches for hammer* I'm not going to buy the tickets anytime soon, although I think they're already on sale. I have eight months to buy them! I'm not a fan of the band, but I do have a lot of respect for Eric Troyer - his songwriting and what I know of him as a person.

The Orchestra ad without the band's name on it (but with a logo-looking, huge "ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA" text) has been scanned and it's on my computer. If someone's interested, I can e-mail it, or PM if attachments can be sent via PM.

Just saw the same "ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA" ad in one of our rock magazines.

Have they quit? There are no news on their website and the "gigs"-section has disappeared. They were going to come to Finland, like I said above, and I was thinking of possibly going.

Hope Sir Lou is recovered in time, it's certainly something to aim for....
