Can I just ask - for my post next week can I make my own kind of compilation of one band, a bit like a greatest hits? It would be one main album with some dodgy tracks taken out and good ones from another album put in to make up the numbers. It will be a great party soundtrack for the festive season I promise.

Hi Guys, I just want to thank everyone who participated in this. I've found it to be really cool, light-hearted, and informative fun, a really great thing to unwind with and get into someone else's world, and have our horizons, expanded, etc. I will never have to ask "So who again is that group that sings "All the Young Dudes", and I even know that Ian Hunter was the lead singer of it and that David Bowie wrote it. That kind of stuff and some very nice trips down memory lane, and delving much more deeply into The Moodies "Long Distance Voyager" which I had been itching to do, as well as getting introduced to a host of other good bands and albums from the 70s and 80s, etc.
So thanks again to everyone who participated, and looking forward to a 2015 of great CDs to get exposed to.
Be sure to sign up on the 2015 sign-up link!
Jim

I think it's going to take more than one ringing bell to get our wings - Quasimodo's bell would be helpful!
I've always loved It's a Wonderful Life!

Helmut, who is sooo sweet, started calling Uno & I Two Headed Monster, posted this drawing and we took the idea and ran with it. I did draw in the color using paint. Fun doing it and wanted to do a special for you. I think I've known you the longest! Happy New Year!
