- Finally, I don't like the idea of put the Wembley Or Bust audios to celebrate the birthday of some singles. Twilight and Turn To Stone are examples, but we want to hear the originals! The original Twilight has no better version, I'm sure!! Haha
I will agree that for celebrating an anniversary release we should have the originals... heck, in nearly all cases I'm biased towards the originals, and I've got very lukewarm feelings about the Mr Blue Sky album.
But Twilight from Wembley is magical. I'd had no idea they'd played that one live since the Time tour, and when I heard it "out of the blue" for the first time, my jaw was hanging open in surprise and awe for the better half of the song.

nobodyschildI too just started listening to The Idle Race about 2 weeks ago! Our friend Dave let me borrow his "Back to the Story" set, and all of The Move's albums on CD, so I've been slowly listening to all of them. I agree on the sensory overload, orioles70, it's a lot to take in! But how much do I love all the bird-related lyrics in the Idle Race tunes? A lot!

Another confession: I had never heard Fault Line before just a few days ago. I love it!! Sounds like ELO meets Elvis and very, very catchy.

I thought the very first line in Sweet Talking Woman was something about a danger zone.
I thought this for a very long time.
In fact, it was today that I realized it was "Where did you go?"

I thought the lyrics to "Don't Bring Me Down" went:
I'll tell you what's wrong
Before I get off the phone. Don't bring me down.
DBMD was an answer on today's Jeopardy show. They totally spelled the lyrics wrong, though.

My secret shame? Up until a couple of years ago, I thought Jeff was shouting "upside down!", at the beginning of Birmingham Blues. Turns out it's probably "let's 'ave ya!"

At first I thought he was saying "RichARD, now!"

I thought it was "December!" which, admittedly, made no sense at all!

What he shouts is "play soccer!". I think he said it once in an interview. The title of the song "Birmingham Blues" is a play on words with the name of the "soccer" (football) team he is a fan of, Birmingham FC, which's colour is blue (not sure if they are called the "Blues", maybe Horacewimp illustrate us about it).

I’ve always heard it as “ let’s have ya” it’s true that Birmingham FC are locally know as “The Blues” and the supporters are called a “Blue Nose” I’ve never really thought the song was about the football club but about missing Birmingham generally.

Seconded Although "Let's have ya" sounds maybe a bit more Cockney than Brum, but then I'm from nowhere near either
