Wow - who'd have thought it? When Horace said you were after it I must admit I had a look on Ebay but couldn't see anything that sold with the picture sleeve. It's a pretty flimsy sleeve too, just papery rather than laminated card eg as on Wild West Hero. So it's not worn very well around the edges. It's been sitting at the back of my cupboard doing nothing so it really should go to someone who'll value it. Aren't Ebay about to put up their fees? It was quite depressing to see how cheaply the other stuff goes for after all this time. Must be the same for most vintage vinyl I suppose, perhaps because people don't have record players although "unplayed" appears to be most desirable (how can you tell if it's been played?). And there's a massive range of ELO releases, collecting it all must be a nightmare. I did see one of the postcards on there for about £16 Buy it Now, I'm assuming that's overpriced. Thanks loads for the feedback, everyone

Thanks loads for the feedback, everyone Collecting the ELO singles is a very exhausting pastime... you're forever checking a million different websites daily to see if anything new or interesting has been added; frequently buying something that turns out to be different from its description or it gets broken or lost in transit... but the feeling of elation when you find something that you didn't have before is fantastic! The postcard disc is overpriced at £16...

I can imagine what a pain it must be, checking sites every day with such a vast catalogue. I only do it on Ebay for Musey things and that's enough of a chore - so much bog standard stuff and not enough secret treasures

Unomusette,
Instead of screwing around on eBay have you been looking for your 12 inchers?
Chop! Chop!

Curses! I thought I'd gotten away with it!
It is completely true though that Mr Musette's stuff is STILL in front of Vinyl Corner, he came back from Bloodstock and has immediately high tailed it to the Gwar-be-cue in Richmond, Virginia. So he's not bothered to load it back on the car and is most likely living it up whilst covered in fake blood. Meanwhile I'm stuck back here in Wales with only a load of cheap french red wine to make things better. Natch I am trying hard to do this and can quite easily get such a glow on I forget he ever lived here at all.
Once he's back on Tuesday access will be restored and I'll start a-burrowing *salutes*
