We haven't had a poll for a little time so lets have some fun.
This time we need to find the best ELO or Jeff Lynne album, I've included all the studio albums and some selected greatest hits offerings.
There will be six rounds with two albums from each round getting through to round 2 and so on and on, until we have a winner.
Round one selected out of my coffee mug brings together the above, cast your vote, the top two will progress onwards.

"Balance of power" and "Eldorado" are very even in my book, but I'll go with "Balance of power" because it has been very mistreated too often.

Sorry BSJ I don't own an ELO mug, that one looks good, it was a Jaguar one. I voted for Balance of Power, close call between than and Eldorado.

I do like Balance of Power but let us not forget it contains that awful dirge Endless Lies Eldorado, on the other hand, is stuffed with brilliant songs and has one of the best openings and closings ever. Eldorado for me!

I chose Long Wave as its a good collection of covers. Some great songs that Jeff has done a nice version of, even Beyond the Sea which Bobby Darin owns. Overall a nice bit of rock n roll and jazz that Jeff added his own musical qualities to. Otherwise my vote would have gone to Eldorado.

I expect Jeff would vote for Long Wave if he were here. Under an assumed name maybe....
