Yeah definitely lots of happiness David Bowie has brought to the radio that we take for granted, songs like "Golden Years", "Fame", and "Space Oddity". "Modern Love" is a great one, I like the abstractness of the lyrics, they make no sense so add to the mystery of it. "Let's Dance" is about as cool and captivating of an 80s song as there is, nice Stevie Ray Vaughn guitar touches on the hits from the "Let's Dance" album. I was never one to buy his albums, but my siblings had "Changes One" and "Let's Dance", and a lot of those songs definitely got their plays from me. And we can't forget "All the Young Dudes" from the "Mott the Hoople" CD we reviewed, that kept that band afloat. I can hear his influence in some of Joe Jackson's stuff, like the song "Look Sharp", and I'm sure his influence is prevalent in a lot of other music I am familiar with as well, that I don't realize. May God rest his soul, for sure. Like this Vatican newspaper tribute to him. en.radiovaticana.va/news/2016/01/12/vatican_newspaper_pays_tribute_to_david_bowie/1200458Jim
