One of many moments is at the end of Time where the epilogue builds and builds to a crescendo then stops so abruptly,I remember thinking at the time that it must have been a fault on the record....

The police car siren on Mission gets my attention especially when driving I’ll look in the mirror to see if I’m been followed.

Where do I start?! In no particular order... The final chord at the end of Poor Boy (The Greenwood) - that sends shivers down my spine EVERY TIME The guitar work throughout Secret Messages The great song-writing on ZOOM - especially Ordinary Dream and Long Time Gone (and, the production of the entire album) The very end of Armchair Theatre... "It's still goin', you know..." Confusion AND The Diary Of Horace Wimp Jeff's sense of humour throughout his career Kelly's vocals in Poker and Sweet Is The Night Bev's drumming (I know that fluffy loves more than that )

I add another vote to the end of Shangri-La, but am I the only one who thinks the conclusion to the original version of Steppin’ Out from OOTB is equally spine-tingly? It’s cut from the same cloth...

You're certainly not... that ritardando at the end is *so* effective. I honestly don't know why Jeff disliked the original recording of Steppin' Out so much, it's one of my favorite songs on OOTB and I love it just the way it is.

For me, it would be (in no order):
The start/intro going into Tightrope
The fade down/going from So Fine to Livin’ Thing.
Can’t Get It Out Of My Head (the most beautiful song Jeff has written, so far..)
The part of Getting To The Point in the build up to and the sax solo
Telephone Line… "blue days & black nights" part
The start of One Summer Dream, LP version “So I Go….”
The intro to Boy Blue
The part of Poor boy "sweet maid Marion, don't you do me no wrong...
All of Concerto For A Rain Day.

Can anyone think of another four songs in a row by any band which beat side three of OOTB, I can’t. Also by the time Mr Blue Sky plays any rain clouds have to disperse, it’s the law.
