My ELO – No Answer album lyrics are not printed on the album sleeve. There is a separate lyrics sheet, goldenrod in color and about the size of the album. I’ve been looking around on eBay to see if this is noted in their descriptions of the album and so far I have seen nothing. This is a first printing – 1972. The album sleeve is parchment.
Attachment Deleted I've always wondered about it. Anyone know something about this - or who would?

I've just checked my copy of the album and it has the same separate lyric sheet as you say. I'm not sure if this is the norm or not, hopefully we have the two only copies of these lightyersahead might know more about this.

H R, I always had the feeling that that sheet was an after thought - it's so badly done. Let's hope we do have the only copies! $$$$$$$$$$$$! Retirement now! Out of my way!!! Problem is that it's easy to reproduce. lightyersahead? Anything?

All my ELO vinyl is buried somewhere in a cupboard so I can't check mine without major upheaval.
But I think this sort of query merits the start of a Collector's thread where we can ask questions and/or boast about our collections, maybe get some valuations from those who are up on such things? Or is there already somewhere online that does that?
Personally I'm not at all sure what's rare so it would be good to find out if the early retirement suggested by BSJ might be on the cards......
Also could there be a trading post for those who want stuff and those who want to sell?

So, loads of these sheets are out there.

I think our own Collectors thread will be “fantastic” as our Jeff says! Out of The Blue Album won the best album cover and I didn’t have it to display with the runner up on my wall (OTTD was a strong second – we’ll get ‘em next time! ) so hello eBay! I knew there were some bits and pieces attached to this album and I had to do a bit of learning. I ended up buying a never opened and one that was opened with all bits. I drove myself wacky.
Reading unomustte post I thought – the hell! I could have used my ELO buds with this as I had with the lyrics sheet.
Let's make our own: Collector & Question & Boasting thread.
Hopefully this will pull more ELO fans in.
Sir H W, I might be interested being a moderator, if needed. What do they do and what's the pay scale, union? Background checks? (mmmm.... pass on that, pls.)

Hi I'm afraid the lyric sheet was issued during the first release of the album as standard so in the context of the album release is not a rarity however in today's market, it's uncommon for this album to appear for sale on Ebay for example with the lyric sheet intact and in good condition.
