20 songs is excellent value especially for a sort of speciality gig like this. Bodes very well for the actual tour. Have a brilliant time tedblight and dillwyn - keep us posted so we can enjoy it from a distance

Thanks to everyone who sent me nice messages. I've been lurking.
So, tonight! The band were very tight a la Hyde Park. They recreate the songs almost too perfectly. It was a lovely venue.
It was a bit short. They played for about 1hr 20mins. Really hope they're intending to lengthen the set if they're going to charge £137 next year! Was a little bit disappointed if I'm completely honest. It doesn't help that I'm not a "greatest hits" kind of a fan. It was the Hyde Park set minus Ma Ma, 10538, and Handle With Care; the latter two amongst the things I was most excited to hear at Hyde Park, and the more hardcore fan appealing stuff. Still nothing off "Time" in the set which is a huge shame. Just really wanted a curveball or two thrown in; "Letter From Spain", "One Sunmer Dream", or "Mister Kingdom". Also would be nice if they did something like the Eldorado Overture to start the show going into Cant Get It; just something that reflects the more conceptual elements of the catalogue.
One guy shouted for The Battle of Marston Moor which was pretty funny.
Maybe caught me on a bad night. Went by myself which didn't help. Was gutted my wife couldn't make it. It didn't have the excitement and sense of occasion of Hyde Park. Also feeling a bit anxious about the cost of next year's shows and what to do. That pricing structure seems to mirror the likes of Fleetwood Mac, McCartney, and the Eagles, so there is precedent, but is he definitely still in that company? Think they should have played it a bit safer with pricing. It's really dampened the excitement of the tour.
Anyway, just to clarify; it was GOOD, it was obviously a massive privilege to be there, and it was by no means a trainwreck, but hope they can expand on things a bit for the full tour.
