I have mixed feelings about touting... I have myself done it, to fund travel and accommodation, otherwise, been on a low income I would never have made it to Hyde Park. So please don't say a true fan wouldn't sell tickets because i believe to get to a gig, by hook or by crook I will do whatever it takes. I'm ashamed to say that going to this gig on Monday has left me in a financial mess... But i won't be selling my tickets for any amount. Also if I win BBC tickets I will happy give mine to someone on this forum. Stubhub and getmein are not illegal, maybe only immoral. If they are over priced they simply will not sell. I do disagree with people selling who are out to make a massive profit like the photo above. But like I said, it's their money and its up to the individual if that can afford and wish to pay that amount. Fans are intelligent people, let them make their own mind up.

It's preferable to this daft huge radio 2 ballet for a tiny amount of tickets. What, there's some kind of dance off involved to get tickets..?! I'd better start practicing...

Fans are intelligent people, let them make their own mind up. probably have to agree to disagree....but im an elo fan through and through...i would never charge another fan any money for a free ticket...and if i had purchased one only want the face value....i back this up with the true gent Terry from Cornwall who let me have a couple of Hyde Park tickets face value...and...he sent them in advance saying to meet him at the gig....i didnt have to....but i did.... a friend of mine, Bob, is a bigger elo nut than me...iv e known him for around thirty years....now i have only asked for one ticket for me at these gigs because i know, ive spoken to him, he wouldnt be able to get out of work at such short notice....so i see it as unfair to ask for two tickets in some, er (trying to find the right word)...misguided (im being very nice here!...this is not the word i would like to use) idea that someone else will pay my travel costs when i would be going anyway. Its touting.... Cambridge Dictionary Online Tout, verb to sell tickets for something such as a sports game or theatre performance unofficially, usually at a much higher price than the official price

We can share our opinions in a respectful way. Even though people's opinions are strong and different, it's done on here with dignity... If this conversation was on FB it would have snowballed in to personal digs and abuse! Long live Horace Wimp's ELO Forum!
