Was the picture on Eldorado taken directly from the movie or was it re-staged for copyright purposes? I have a friend who thinks the witches cackling can be heard on Time when Prologue is transcending into Twilight.

According to Jeff, the band had no idea what the cover was even from, until someone from the record company told them it was a scene from The Wizard Of Oz. I know that doesn't answer your specific question, though.

All I can say is that the cover itself looks like a half-assed photo shoot.

What do ya expect from something created in 1939?
The photo on the album looks very similar to the org, but the flashes look changed, and there is a red splotch on the front sock that's not on the org photo, that I can see. Probably it was brought out when the photo was enlarged.
Can't believe a band not having a say in their album art.

I know that doesn't answer your specific question, though. I believe it was Sharon Arden / Osborne who raved about the cover to Jeff and Co. and tried to explain the design. In some places on the internet it even says SHE designed it!

The thing I noticed is the cover is a mirror image or reversed from the original.
