wilko, your use of the sophisticated word "yuk" says it all on many different levels. Good man. joeyjoejoejr, I think you're a brave soul listing "Out of Head" and "Don't Bring Me Down". Can you write a few words why these two? queenofthehours. Like H W you listed Roll over Beethoven. Seems you two will be the only people in the beer line! Thanks for playing everyone!

Good ranking, BSJ! Instant expert. It's funny to see that it's still early and "Marston Moor" is already #1 by a landslide.
My contribution is still pending, as I'm taking a new listen to those early proggy songs which normally I don't even have in mind.
I think there's a mistake at #13 (It's over), because it can't have 9 voters at this point.

And, I printed it out making it easier to count # of votes. I chose from the songs that I listen to now. Marston Moor would be a contender though.

Very clever; that saves time. What Excel doesn't provide, however, is grouping all of the songs that have a certain amount of points under one position. For example, "Drum dreams" and "Need her love" are listed as #8 and #11, but all of that group is #8 really because they have the same amount of points. Then the group that follows is #12. You'd have to do that manually. It isn't that difficult either.

5)Wild West Hero: I will get a slipper spanking for this from my better half. Show no mercy, better half! She doesn't deserve it! You're right! I'm going to look for the extra tough, elephant hide strength slipper that's used only for EXTREMELY bad atrocities right now...

...and when I've finished, my top ten dodgy tracks shall be considered. Surprised to see no sign of Endless Lies yet, it's one of my pet hates.

"Can't Get it Out of My Head" Is so lethargic that it's like listening to James Taylor music which must be like being on quaaludes.
" Don't Bring Me Down" as well as Discovery I liked when it came out, but just can't listen to it because it sounds so dated. It doesn't hold up to Time. ( pun intended). Ironically I heard Don't Bring Me Down on the radio today.

Unfortunately, Jeff has written many throwaway tunes.
I have to include Jeff Lynne songs, not just ELO songs (that's the same thing, anyway):
1. Doin't That Crazy Thing 2. Goin' Down To Rio 3. Latitude 88 North 4. Surrender 5. Just For Love 6. Time After Time 7. Dreaming of 4000 8. Easy Money 9. From The Sun To The World 10. Moment In Paradise

I don't understand how anyone can be voting for CGIOOMH or DBMD... I could go on -- when there is a little album called BALANCE OF POWER. Not counting So Serious and Calling America BOP has 7 of the most phoned in Jeff creations of all time. So they make up the first 7 of my list in no particular order other than Endless Lies being my least favorite and Send It being the best of the bunch.
1. Endless Lies 2. Secret Lives 3. Sorrow About to Fall 4. Getting To The Point 5. Without Someone 6. It's Allright 7. Send It 8. Letter From Spain 9. All She Wanted 10. Marston Moor
Sorry Jeffy !!!

There is a nice ditty at the end of my BOP cd called "In For The Kill, elophile. I think there are only three songs that I like on Discovery, and I chose three from that album for my least like list. Ahhhh, Jeff - will you have photos of us at concerts main gates saying that we are not to be let in?
