I'm going to have to have a word with those animals, they are in breach of contract as they are exclusively signed to the HW record label.

Dunno about me ninja twin, but I'm loving it to bits! Why oh why oh why did this not make the album? I blame Horace and his antiquated management system, squashing true art such as this. I don't blame Patrice for going all unionised on him, tsk

I'm glad that Horace's animals' intervention made the song more bearable to you. The animals were doing great at the beginning and Jeff was very impressed, but when the chorus came Dimitri the Donkey (who was a big fan of "Midnight blue") got overly excited, couldn't control himself any longer and started singing all over Jeff. The brummie genius got upset by this and held Horace responsible for the jackass' lack of tact, giving start to a general discussion. This bootleg remains as evidence of that short, ill-fated encounter.
Hey, who made that great drawing?

"You can take an animal out the farm, but ya can't take the farm out of the animal" Geo Orwell.
That first gobble had me on the floor. Dave could hear me laughing from outside.
Dimitri reminded me of when Jeff was so hepped up when playing Roll Over Beethoven last September, that he cried out a noise, instead of lyric's. So, I hope our "Brummie Genius" became understanding.
(Found pic out in the net and made the banner.)

Well done! Although beware: we could steal it for the cover of our next album or single. Yeah, I'm sure after what happened to Jeff in Hyde Park he understood Dimitri much more, but back in the day he used to be more intolerant. BTW, I'm sure Mr. Lynne will be glad when he gets to know that one of his ninja groupies compared his singing (at least a tiny fraction of it) to a donkey's braying.

In all honesty there just aren't any ELO songs that I actually hate but in terms of 'least favourite', I'm afraid the choice is easy and I can sum it up in one word.....
'Discovery'. The bottom rung of the creative ladder.
...so that's nine and I'll add the almost inevitable 'Marston Moor' to round it off to ten!

Thanks for playing soonerorlater. And you pushed "Marston Moor" up to 73! Agree with you on "Discovery". I voted 3 songs from it for my list.

Ooooo... Helmut83 will be very disappointed with Jungle on this list! Well, ignore his bluster, dillwyn, I will back you up! More points for Marston Moor - up to 79 now!

NO! NO! How can anyone possibly hate Another Heart Breaks?!?!?! I get it. Picking out LEAST favorite is VERY difficult. I've had a Word document open on my computer trying to come up with MY list... and it' still blank. Another (kind-of off topic) thought about ELO: Songs and albums can be favorites one day, and not the next. I remember being so disappointed when I got home with my copy of Balance Of Power the day it was released. No real strings? Fake drums? ...but now it's one of my favorite albums of all time!

OK. I would have to say... my least favorite (and seriously, these are all I could come up with at the moment): Drum Dreams The Battle of Marston Moor (2 July 1644)
