Just now! Shine A Little Love played as part of the BBC's medley, accompanying New Year London fireworks montage.

It was perfect for the fireworks, wasn't it? Shame it was such a short clip though.

Watched a BBC 4 program the other night about Top of the Pops in 1980.
During the show they showed a very short clip of Legs and Co dancing to All Over the World.

I had to smile yesterday while watching a baking programme starring Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood. Paul was making bread and describing the yeast process: "It's a living thing", said Mr Hollywood. Maybe Jeff is a secret bread-maker?

Would that be Chereene and the rest of the orchestra? Yeah, I can remember when they played it at Hyde Park. Unfortunately it wasn't Chereene, back in the 80s on the Top of the Pops show they had a resident dance troop called "Legs and Co" during the 70s the troop was "Pans People". When acts couldn't appear on the show then they would get the dance troop to perform a routine to the song. I seem to remember this happened a few times with ELO. Back to Chereene, here is a (not great quality) leather clad Chereene to cheer up your Monday morning. Attachment Deleted

A normal Friday night at our local Wine Bar and tk6 turns to me and says Mr Bluesky is on the stereo. No way, not here! Fred plays the worst music in the city, if not the world! A waitress plugged in her IPod. Very illegal to do this in bars or restaurants. Huge fines. Placed my ear to a speaker and my night was made!!!! Had to go tell her to unplug.

Illegal to play music that's been downloaded. Fred could pay fines of thousand and thousands of dollars. The little girls are always trying to sneak it in when he's not there. Can't blame them and let the music go for just a bit. He was warned and if caught again there will be one pissed off owner AND very disappointed in the regulars!
Prob would make us pay cork fees and clean the toilets!

Wow, that's heavy stuff. My hairdresser once had someone from the Performing Rights Society come in and tell him he had to pay if he had the radio on in the salon. Turns out that's the law, who knew?

What? The radio pays for the rights of the songs and they can play them. You are not responsible for what the radio airs.
